Alejandro Noguera Borel is a graduate in Ancient History from the University of Paris IV – Sorbonne, and is a graduate in Classical Oriental Archeology from the l’École Pratique des Hautes Études de Paris. He has a diploma in classical and oriental languages from the Sorbonne and the Collège de France, and a Master in Museum Studies from the Universidad Complutense, as well as a Doctorate in Ancient History from the University of Valencia.
He has taught at the University of Valencia, the Polytechnic University of Valencia and the University Cardenal Herrera-Ceu San Pablo, as well as the University of Athens and the foundation Fundación Libertas 7. He frequently gives conferences in various places.
He is a writer, editor, translator and proof reader of numerous books and articles, academic and otherwise, in Spanish, French and English. He collaborates with various media groups such as Grupo Prisa and Grupo Gestiona.
He is currently the Director of Fundación Libertas 7 and the L ‘Iber Museum, the toy soldier museum. He is a patron of the Fundación Cañada Blanch and executive member of the Asociación Unesco Valencia.
Previously he directed the Fundación Instituto Valenciano de Estudios Clásicos y Orientales and has collaborated with numerous cultural institutions, NGOs and non-profit making organisations.
In the business world he is a member of the Board of Libertas 7 S. A. and a member of the auditory commission; he is also a Board member of Portal de Valldigna S. A. and DIBU S. A. He was also CEO of Servicios Informáticos Multimedia S. L., and Eina S. L., as well as Absolvo S. A. and El Clima Multimedia S. L. all of which are new technologies companies.
His work in the field of culture has earnt him various awards such as Archival 2012, scientific teaching Unesco 2001 and Flash Back 2013 among others.
