Investment Strategy

Amaltheia focuses its investments in Spanish agri-business and agro- industry companies in the widest sense.

The investments are carried out as growth projects, capital development and expansion, internationalisation, technological improvement, innovation, sectorial clustering, scale increase, integration of businesses or substitution of partners, excluding investments in
start-ups or turn-around, operations, with a projected investment timeline of 6-8 years.

The capital investments involve the taking of minority or majority share participation, with agreements with shareholders and presence on the board.

A fundamental requirement is the alignment of interests with the partners. The objective is to accompany the company in the process of long-term value creation in businesses that have competitive advantages, managed by efficient professional teams that are committed to the project, with growth potential, both organic and inorganic, as well as possibilities in international development and reasonable prospects for disinvestment.
